Welcome to the Pacifica National Little League Website!
AA, Minors, Majors Mandatory Tryouts
2012 Spring Season
 
Players will be asked to field balls, hit pitched balls, and run bases, as well as other drills.
  • Tryout Dates: January 28* and February 4*
  • Tryout Times: 10 am - Noon & 1 - 3 pm, both days.
  • Location: Fairway Park
  • Bring: helmet, bat, glove, protective cup, and cleats
If it looks like rain, call the rainout hotline at 650-355-2104 to verify that tryouts will proceed as scheduled.
* The rainout make up day for January 28 is February 4 and the rainout make up day for February 4 is February 11.
 
Juniors Mandatory Tryouts
2012 Spring Season
  • Tryout Dates: February 11
  • Tryout Times: 10 am - Noon both days.
  • Location: Cooper Field (at Terra Nova HS, enter from Everglades)
  • Player check off: Must wear baseball cup, cleats, bat, glove, and hat. (This is hardball.)
Check back for any changes. Players from our surrounding towns (Daly City, South San Francisco, and San Bruno) are also welcome to register for this division.

REGISTRATION
2012 Spring Season
  • Little League (ages 4–12) – $150 (single), $260 (2 siblings), and $300. (3 or more siblings)
  • Juniors (ages 13–14) – $150

+ All players also participate in hit-a-thon or fundraiser buy-out

+ Little League rules state 4-year-olds are allowed to participate in T-Ball if they turn 4 by April 30, 2012.

JUNIORS INFORMATION
We accept Juniors players from Daly City, San Bruno, South San Francisco, and all of Pacifica. The season begins in mid-April and runs till mid/late June, ending with the District All Stars Tournament in July. All registered Players will be notified of the exact dates.
Cooper field is located off Everglades adjacent to the Terra Nova High School campus (map).

The Pony league has merged with Pacifica National Little League's Junior program and will operate under the PNLL's Little League charter. Former Pony commissioner Noe Valencia will function as VP of the Juniors division.

HELP NEEDED
As a volunteer-run organization committed to providing a fun, safe environment for children between the ages of 4 and 16 to enjoy the game of baseball, we are always looking for individuals to jump on board and lend a hand. As you explore this site, please consider becoming a volunteer. Feel free to contact anyone listed on theContact Us pagewith any questions or concerns you may have. In the meantime, play ball!
Board meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Moose Lodge at 7:00 pm. These are open to anyone interested in attending. The next meeting will be on February 7, 2012.

RAIN OUT HOTLINE
Call the snack shack at 650-355-2104 for up to the minute field info. Field status will be updated by 2 pm every day.

COMPOSITE BATS RULING: ALL DIVISIONS
At present, only a handful of composite bats for the Little League all division have received a waiver and are, therefore, legal to use in Little League play. Please review the approved list at the Little League website to check on the legality of bats.

FIELD STATUS
Please lock all gates before you leave the field. The pitching machine must be covered every night. If something is missing, broken or if there is a safety issue please email your board members. No practice at Ocean H.S. Absolutely no hitting baseballs into the fence. Wet the field before you drag. The speed limit is 5 MPH at Fairway field.

Please check the status of our fields on ourPractice Schedule page(under "Divisions" tab). During the rainy season, field conditions vary and any closures will be posted as soon as possible.
